BORING UPDATE

It’s been another crazy month again. Looking back at my last post, it’s been more than a month since I touched a computer. Hmph! For those of you who have not heard from me for ages, I’m sorry! For the one crazy woman whom I have not been meeting up with as often as I’ve wanted, paiseh ah. Hope you’re enjoying your hip hop lessons (though it’s really beyond my wildest imagination seeing you hop =s)… Hold your breath again for my latest updates.

In the mist of my studies and training, I was blessed with a shopfront to take over. So guess what! I’m now officially the owner of a BEAUTY SALON! (Okie, cosmeceutical centre to be exact. ;p the Man’s very particular about that) Though it was a good deal, we had alot to slog for. The Man and I had to empty all our savings to pour into this business. So there! My A-dot’s not having his baby cot nor prams nor clothes yet! So you kai-mas, kai-yehs or kai-to-bes… please be automatic.. ;p!

From shuttling between work and shop daily for the Man, and school and shop weekly for me, we have not been able to enjoy any life for the past month. The shop opens daily at the moment and we are usually so worn out when we get home, we fall asleep the minute our heads touch the pillows!

In the midst of this crazy life, I was thrown a huge shock when the hospital called to say there’s an irregularity with my blood sample! I may be a suspected carrier of a genetic blood disorder and if the Man’s also a carrier, there’s a likelihood that A-dot’s gonna be a full-blown blood cancer patient! Even before he’s seen the world! The prospect of losing my baby was overwhelming. Though I’ve not seen him yet but he’s been in me for months! Moving and waving and swimming around. Changing me and changing everything around me! Thank God, after further tests of the Man and me, we were declared healthy! My red blood count must have been especially low on that fateful day, which means, my A-dot’s pretty safe for now. Till further ultrasound scans that will be done next week, let’s cross our fingers that Junior’ll be safe and healthy!
